Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using UniPath, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to use UniPath.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent documents
• Attempt to manipulate match scores or recommendation algorithms
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the platform
• Share premium features or bypass payment mechanisms

AI Services

UniPath provides AI-powered features including document review, improvement suggestions, and content generation. By using these features:

• You acknowledge that AI-generated content is for guidance only and may contain errors
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated documents before submission
• AI features are subject to usage limits; premium subscriptions may increase these limits
• We may collect and use your inputs to improve our AI models, but will not share your personal documents with third parties

Payment Terms

Premium subscriptions are processed through Paymob:

• Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law
• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Premium features are tied to your account and cannot be transferred

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

UniPath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That match scores or recommendations will result in successful applications
• The accuracy or completeness of university or program information
• That AI-generated content will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UniPath shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Berlin, Germany.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
